apologies

Sorry it is not twins, I made Amy do that, more to mislead everyone into not guessing the right answer. My bad! Sorry, it was more of a question for the medical students to answer. The answer is yolk sac. However, I did really want twins.

Gummie Bear(s)

For some reason I am no good at taking pictures of pictures, but you get the idea. The ultrasound lady kept saying looks like a gummie bear, so I went with that. I am 10 weeks along, Patrick said I couldn't tell anyone until 20 weeks, so ha I won. I didn't want people to just think I was gaining weight, or growing a "Milwaukee Tumor" (pot belly.) Needless to say Patrick finally conceded.
I love the care I am getting here, they are very thorough. I thought I got great care with Natalie, but the care here is above and beyond, I love it. I get an hour long ultrasound at week 20, i am so excited to find out the sex. I have done well this first trimester, only throwing up once, sorry Jessie, but I do feel sick off and on. I am just super tired all of the time, and usually take a 3-4 hour nap while Natalie is sleeping. When I go to work, I am usually asleep by 8 due to no nap. My doctor is actually heavily involved in teaching the medical students here, but he assured me that none of Patrick's classmates will come in during the birth, unless I want which I don't!
April 6th is the current due date, and in the photo above there is a green circle, circling something around the baby in views head. First one to guess what it is gets a candy bar.
So excited!!!

Tomatoes!

We tried our hand at gardening this year, Patrick got me tomato plants for Mother's Day and we picked them tonight. Natalie loved them, and I have to say they definitely tasted better than the store bought ones!

Our little runner

Amy was running on the treadmill and I was downstairs talking to her. When all of a sudden a pair of shoes, running shoes, comes flying down the stairs followed by Natalie. Natalie then informs us that it is her turn to go running, and that she needs to put on her "fast shoes." The rest is in the video, she loves to emulate her mom.

Cute Friends

What do you get when you try to get three 2 year olds to pose for a picture...

Natalie loves playing with her friends Kaitlin and Eliza they have so much fun together. We had all gotten together during the week before the 4th and made our girls matching bows, so we wanted a picture of them. They weren't so sure about it though! Thanks Marissa for sharing your pictures.

Update

Sorry it's been so long. Following are slideshows of pictures summariing our busy summer. We've had lots of fun company with grandparents coming and going as well as fun times around Milwaukee as a family since Patrick has more time off. We have discovered the beach on Lake Michigan this summer, Natalie loves it. Also we had a great 4th of July here, parade, bbq, fireworks, a very busy day. Enjoy the pictures!
